You can go in.
Give it a final wipe with a clean cloth and you re done.
Scratch away the residue with your fingers or something plastic after you let it soak.
If the residue remains try spot cleaning with detergent applied directly to the residue.
Dissolve the residue with rubbing alcohol vodka or vinegar.
